is a medical doctor by training.
Gernot currently lives in England working for the pharmaceutical industry. He started road biking in the 1980ties and ever since enjoyed group rides and local sportive events. Founding member of Team ‘All Wheels 4 Fibromyalgia’ racing for raising awareness for fibromyalgia and chronic pain. The team collected and donated more than 150000 US Dollar for the National Fibromyalgia Association. His major sportive successes: Chicago marathon (3:45 hrs, 2006, 2007), La Marmotte (2009), Nightmare Tour (Pennsylvania 2009), Tour of Wessex (UK 2009), RAAM 2009 (1st place, 4-person mixed, 6D11HRS), RAAM 2010 (1st place, 4-person mixed, 6D5HRS). |
